What Child Is This by Andre Bocelli and Mary J. Blige

  • Posted on December 23, 2010 at 12:48 am

Andre Bocelli and Mary J. Blige singing together? Well, their uniqueness of their voices reminds me of the unique and precious gift we received many many years ago. I present to you something amazing, The Nativity Story…………………………

As Christmas approaches, remember the most important gift is not wrapped in pretty paper under the tree. It was wrapped up in swaddling clothes in a manger. Merry Christmas and enjoy the love of giving.

Few Thoughts About The Book of Proverbs………………

  • Posted on December 21, 2010 at 12:15 pm

A couple of days ago, we mentioned that one of our favorite books is the Richest Man who Ever Lived because it talks about King’s Solomon’s wisdom and how we can use to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.

It started to make us think about how many of you are living below your full potential. Some of you may be working at a job you dislike ……………………just to pay the bills when you could be running your own business. Or maybe some of you went to school to become a pharmacist when your real passion lies in becoming an artist.

It can sometimes be difficult to pursue the desires God placed in our heart.

Why?

Because living to your fullest potential requires you to become a leader.

This is a Leader with Integrity

As you read through Proverbs you will realize there are unique qualities to becoming a leader.

  • Vision
  • Servanthood
  • Good Character

And, there’s more where that came from…………………….

So, let us ask you, are you ready to live to your fullest potential?

If so, then click here

What is your favorite Christian book?

  • Posted on December 16, 2010 at 8:27 pm

We want to share something interesting with you today.

Our Christian book club meeting is coming up soon and one of our distinguished members suggested that we think about all the books we read this year and discuss which book or books made the biggest impact on us.

Of course, the book that impacted us the most is the HOLY BIBLE

But, regarding the books we read this year, we would have to say……..(drum roll please)

The Richest Man Who Ever Lived

Why? Because The Richest Man Who Ever Lived exposes King Solomon’s wisdom and insight to success and personal fulfillment. It happens to be in line with our favorite scripture (Jeremiah 29:11) and our mission of developing character and shaping lives.

Are You Focused On The Real Meaning of Christmas?

  • Posted on December 13, 2010 at 1:29 am

It’s that time of the year again….Christmas time!

In the midst of our shopping for gifts and running to holiday parties, sometimes, we get caught up in our agenda and lose focus on the real meaning of Christmas.

That’s why, our Christian book club is reading, Christmas at Harrington’s, to fill our hearts with unconditional joy.

Get your copy here.

It’s a story about a woman who spent 8 years in prison because she was falsely accused of embezzlement. With God’s grace and mercy, she was released from prison around Christmas time and received the gift of a second chance, redemption and forgiveness.

Read Christmas at Harrington’s here.

It reminds all of us the very reason why Jesus Christ was born…to take on our sins, redeem us, forgive us and give us a second chance.

So, this Christmas season, join us as we read Christmas at Harringtons and leave your thoughts and comments on our Facebook fan page (I will put a link for facebook page)

And by the way, take a look at the Tree Lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in NYC. Have fun and Enjoy Christmas. It’s a special time of the year. Make sure you leave a comment below because we will love to hear from you.

First and foremost, we must give thanks to God for this wonderful time of the year. It’s the time of year when people are more giving, thankful and kinder. It’ll make you wish people would keep the Christmas spirit all year long.

Let’s not forget, Christmas is a time for amazing things to happen. So, we wanted to do something pretty amazing ourselves. We went to the tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in NYC. It was a great experience and we wanted to share it with you………………..

Leave us a comment and tell us what you think of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. Pass it along and share it with others. And, remember for this Christmas season, praise God, count your blessings and give to someone who is less fortune than you.
