Ephesians 5:15: Be Very Careful, Then, How You Live—Not As Unwise But As Wise

  • Posted on January 22, 2010 at 4:07 pm

When life is hard and payday is still so far away and when the salary comes it’s not enough there is only one thing to do; God says the struggle is over for you…

Don’t ignore, God could be testing YOU.

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Ephesians 5:15 encourages us to ‘be very careful how you live, making the most of your time.’ Each and every one of us is going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the Faith.

This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let’s continue to pray for one another.

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus’ precious name.  Amen.

Traveling On Your Knees

  • Posted on January 14, 2010 at 8:55 pm

Last night I took a journey
To a land across the seas.
I didn’t go by ship or plane
I traveled on my knees.

I saw so many people there
In bondage to their sin,
And Jesus told me I should go,
That there were souls to win.

But I said “Jesus, I can’t go
To lands across the seas.”
He answered quickly, “Yes, you can
By traveling on your knees.”

He said, “You pray, I’ll meet the need.
You call, and I will hear.
It’s up to you to be concerned
For lost souls far and near.”

And so I did; knelt in prayer,
Gave up some hours of ease,
And with the Savior by my side,
I traveled on my knees.

As I prayed on, I saw souls saved
And twisted persons healed,
I saw God’s workers strength renewed
While laboring in the field.

I said, “Yes Lord, I’ll take the job.
Your heart I want to please.
I’ll heed Your call and swiftly go
By traveling on my knees.”

By Sandra Goodwin

In Jeremiah 29:11-14 it says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will
bring you back from your captivity.” God wants us to prosper and be in good health, so keep focused on the solution which is the Lord Jesus Christ and not on your problem.

I leave you with this verse. Read and meditate on it:

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

I Have A Plan To Prosper You….Jeremiah 29:11

  • Posted on January 9, 2010 at 9:23 pm

We have all survived the first week of the year. But, let us ask you a question, ” Are you still keeping up with your New Year’s Resolution or did you already quit? If you already faulted on your New Year Resolution, then no worries. Did you know that people give up on their New Year’s Resolution by January 15th and they have completely forgetten about them by mid-February.

Considering that you may wander why anyone would even bother making resolutions at all. It’s because we all want to be better people—–we want to eat healthier, lose weight, save money, pray more, know the bible better, mediate on God’s word more often. No one wants to be in the same position from year to year. And, you shouldn’t want to be because Jeremiah 29:11 says ” For I know the plans I have for you…..plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

But, there are several reasons why we can’t keep our New Year’s resolution and prosper:

  • We don’t spend enough time to seek out God’s will for our lives.
  • We do too much too soon. We want to go from not reading the bible at all to knowing scripture in one week.
  • We don’t set realistic goals or create an action plan.
  • We lack the resources and knowledge of what we need to achieve our goals.
  • We don’t have a support system. We need support, good relationships, advice and tips to prosper.

This year, let’s help each other. Join Our Mailing List, Facebook Fan Page, ChristiansChat Twitter Group or leave a comment, so we can share our goals, give advice and provide resources to help each other follow God’s will and achieve our goals.
